Our Team & Family
Our staff is what we are most proud of and differentiates us from our competition. TPI has an unparalled reputation in the industry and our field staff is truly our sales force. TPI's 15 employees consist of 5 geologists, 6 NJ licensed drillers, 2 field technicians, and administrative staff.
Frank Fendler, MS, PG - President
Kurt Fendler - Vice President
Frank Fendler along with his brother Kurt Fendler formed TPI in 1995. Prior to starting TPI, the Fendler brothers had over 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting business, Frank as a consulting geologist, and Kurt as an environmental field technician. Early on in our careers, it was evident to us that, in general, many environmental drilling and contracting firms represented a poor value through providing an inferior service and relatively high rates. TPI started out with one Geoprobe in 1995 and since that humble beginning has expanded our fleet to over 10 Geoprobe/auger rigs and added geophysical and injection services. Our goal is to continue to improve and create a company that minimizes risk, provides quality, and provides value for our clients. Kurt and Frank each have over 30 years of experience in the environmental industry. Frank hold a BS in geology and an MS in engineering geology and Kurt is a NJ licensed driller.
Mike Robbins, MS - Project Manager - Geologist
Mike has been with TPI since 2009 and he is responsible for all marketing and field services related to the TPI Boston branch office. Mike has 10 years of applied geophysics and a BS in geology as well as a MS in engineering geology.
Brian Moriarty - NJ Licensed Driller
Brian has been with TPI since 2001 and has significant experience with various direct push rigs, hollow stem auger rigs, and various Geoprobe sampling systems. Brian has led numerous injection programs and stands out in his ability to use creative approaches to maximize the efficiency of these projects. Brian holds a BS degree from East Stroudsburg University.
